I'm a collector of vintage things, a self-proclaimed fashionista, wannabe interior designer, avid list-maker, travel enthusiast, hot latte drinker, and lover of life.

Being a friend, wife, sister, dog-mom, and daughter are some of my favorite titles aside from "photographer"... these roles are deeply fulfilling to me. My people are my everything.

Growing up in rural Ohio, I spent all of my childhood dreaming about moving anywhere else and now at 23, I'm content with calling the Midwest home but will always always be down to travel to you.

My love language is intentional gift giving and handwritten notes. I'm the most sentimental person I know. I keep momentos from every trip and hoard thousands of photos on my iPhone. I love to record and journal the every day and I'll always prefer pen and paper over my Notes app.

I'm kind of an old soul and I've been that way my whole life. I find so much enjoyment in noticing, being an observer of others and telling stories -- yours and my own.

What inspires me

The first camera to fall into my hands was a pink Fujifilm point and shoot. It was 2008 and it was on the very top of my Christmas wishlist. At 6 years old, I'd follow my family members around the house begging to take their portraits... nobody was safe from the flash being pointed in their direction. Not even our family dog. Eventually I would start to take photos of my toys and my room. I think I was trying to document the full story, not just the details. I wanted to remember my whole room, not just a few of my favorite things.
Portraits were my always what I was drawn to, even as a little girl. My younger sister was and still is my favorite person to take photos of.

At the time I wasn't aware of how much those photos would mean to me later but I still have them and frequent the top of my camera roll so that I can revisit specific scenes from my childhood. I still have flash selfies, photos of the home I grew up in, and portraits of family members from holiday gatherings. I often look back on them with nostalgia and take inventory of how my only aim was to document. It always takes me by surprise at how I chose to compose shots back then.

My point and shoot days may be over and I've had a few camera upgrades in between now and then, but the heart behind what I do has stayed the same. It matters deeply to me that I document you (and those you love) in this season of life with intention. Careful to preserve the moments that mean everything to you, my promise is to document and deliver photos that take you back and make you feel.

who and what I love

Outside of photography, I spend almost all of my time with my husband "my bestie" of almost 5 years and our sweet chocolate Labrador puppy, Buck.

We recently purchased an older 1900's home and are busy making our house a home and getting acquainted with our new small town. My weekends are spent sipping coffees or a glass of red wine (depending on the time of day) and taking our pup on adventures.

We love traveling, seeing the world, and experiencing new places together. We eloped, just the two of us, in Zion 'NP (our best day ever) and love that we have a special spot to revisit over the years.

In summer of '25 we took our first trip to Europe and spent a little over a week in Spain. We explored beautiful Barcelona,  the Spanish countryside, and my husband and stepdad ran with the bulls in Pamplona during the world famous Running of the Bulls during the San Fermín festival.
I'm sooo the opposite of him though and am very much risk-adverse. My hobbies include putting outfits together, (learning to) cook, reading, writing letters and stories, and antiquing. Our hobbies couldn't be more different but traveling together is 100% where we both align and can enjoy each other best.

My mom is my other best friend and she's my soulmate. The two of us host a mother-daughter podcast and always make spending time together a priority. She's my greatest inspiration and has always been my #1 fan. Nobody makes me laugh or feel so seen the way she does. I'll always be a mama's girl.

Behind the Lens

When I take on a new project, I am in full pursuit of navigating how to execute your session thoughtfully from start to finish. Following your inquiry and the initial stages of booking, what's most important to me is understanding your vision and honoring that while bringing my creativity and storytelling approach.

A photo session with me is a storytelling experience.
I'm intentional about ensuring that come the day of your event/ session, you are confident in the photo services you've booked, confident in me, and confident in that showing up as your most honest self, we'll capture timeless, lovely, and beautiful photos for keeps.

The projects I work on matter to me on a personal level. My work is reflective of who I am and where I've been. So no, showcasing your story isn't a small thing. To me, it's everything. The narrative we create is built upon trust, openness, and my experience.

I bring 9 years of experience of photographing some of life's largest and most sacred moments to the table: weddings, anniversaries, graduations, engagements, newborns, and more. My camera has seen many "firsts" and some "lasts" --  I care about your story as a photographer and as a human being.

It matters that you take the photos and who takes them matters too. These are the memories that will hang on your walls and live in your photo albums,.

MY Philosophy ...

Leave "perfect" at the door and exchange it for real and honest. Come as you care and let me handle the rest.

Being in front of the camera is an act of vulnerability.
I'm aware that not everybody can feel comfortable right away so instead of forcing awkward poses, I compose shots that feel authentic to who you are.

Intake forms and questionnaires are the first thing I send out so that I can be getting to know you leading up to our session.

your story lies in the in-between moments. let go of perfection and let me document you as you are.

We can’t recommend Kiki enough! She photographed some impromptu engagement photos for us, and later photographed our wedding. Both were great experiences. We love her style, which captures natural and genuine moments.

Before our wedding, she scheduled a few calls with us to review what was most important to capture, create shot lists, and talk through locations. This ensured we would get pictures with all the people that we wanted to have pictures with and of all the important moments.

I've had the joy of working with Kiki for several shoots over the years, each marking a special chapter in my life. She has an incredible ability to capture genuine, unscripted moments while making you feel completely at ease in front of the camera.

Her eye for detail is unmatched, and her photos always feel intentional and beautifully composed. I also love her editing style - natural tones with a clean, high-quality finish.
